 Why do you doubt? God in our journey of life, asks us to take a step into the unknown and impossible. There are several example in the Bible Abraham was asked to take a journey. This journey brought troubles. It is natural to doubt Joshu a probably instruction to walk around the walls of Jericho for 7 days. Did he doubt? Even Peter .... the man who walked on water.... doubted... Verse: Matthew 14:31 Jesus immediately reached out and grabbed him. “You have so little faith,” Jesus said. “Why did you doubt me?” Doubt causes you to sink, faith enables to walk on water .... What does water represent? It is the area of unknown and the impossible. John the Baptist had his doubts Verse: Luke 7:19 and he sent them to the Lord to ask him, “Are you the Messiah we’ve been expecting, or should we keep looking for someone else?” Mary had her doubts Verse: Luke 1:34 Mary asked the angel, “But how can this happen?  Bad Words Verse: Exodus 34:6‭-‬7 6 The Lord passed in front of Moses, calling out, “Yahweh! The Lord! The God of compassion and mercy! I am slow to anger and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.  7 I lavish unfailing love to a thousand generations. I forgive iniquity, rebellion, and sin. But I do not excuse the guilty. I lay the sins of the parents upon their children and grandchildren; the entire family is affected— even children in the third and fourth generations.” Three bad words - Sin, Trangression and Iniquity Sin Sin means missing the mark.  Happy Women's Day or is it? We celebrate women because women are strong, intelligent, talented ...... etc and the list goes on. And we continue to celebrate women because they operate within boundaries we set for them. Here are some boundaries that we remind them of Verse: 1 Corinthians 14:34-37 (English Standard Version) 34 the women should keep silent in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak, but should be in submission, as the Law also says.  35 If there is anything they desire to learn, let them ask their husbands at home.  The call of God The three pointers on the call of god The calling belongs to the Lord and not yours This will not fail We need to start preparing Calling pointers  - Everyone has a calling from God Verse: Jeremiah 4:3 This is what the Lord says to the people of Judah and Jerusalem: “Plow up the hard ground of your hearts! Do not waste your good seed among thorns. Preparing ourselves analogy is presented in this verse - plow up the hard ground. This preparations means that we need to give us our pride.... our own ideas and come to God in Prayer The hard ground... Any farmer would know that the first thing that needs to happen is breaking the hard ground.... and this is hard work. Breaking up the ground means that the hard rocks will have to be removed or broken.... this could be habits, living holy, forgiving someone etc  The thorns... The second thing the verse is talking about not wasting good seed among the thorns. If we complacent about being careful in our thought .....
