 Holy Spirit The Holy Spirit was the promise and was the "other counsellor". This promise was made to all who believed in Jesus. The Holy Spirit fell first on the 120 people who waited on the promise.  And the Holy Spirit outpouring on the day of Pentacost is the birth of the Church. We need the Holy Spirit because He does the following for us  Brings Jesus into my heart Brings the character of Jesus Empowers me to do the work of Christ Prepares me for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ Here are some points of the Holy Spirit It is a a Promise Reminds us Helps us Witness Inspires us Gentle Spirit Promotes Jesus Prays on our behalf Leads us Helps us to Love Fills us with Joy Here is the promise that Jesus spoke about. Verse: Luke 24:49 49 “And now I will send the Holy Spirit, just as my Father promised. But stay here in the city until the Holy Spirit comes and fills you with power from heaven.” The 120 people didn't do anything until they received that power from on high...

This comes by meditating on God's word Verse: Joshua 1:8‭-‬9 8 Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.  9 This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged.
