Transformational Heart - Mark 7 Embracing Discernment and rejecting deception Verse: Mark 7:14-15 [14] Then Jesus called to the crowd to come and hear. “All of you listen,” he said, “and try to understand. [15] It’s not what goes into your body that defiles you; you are defiled by what comes from your heart.” When Jesus is calling to listen carefully, he is really telling them to listen with the heart. Discernmenet is the key in guarding our heart His leading A discerning heart listens to the Lord The Lord alone can peel the layer of deception and help us diagnose the real agenda behind the heart. His approval A discerning heart is content heart with the Lords approval He does not give in to superficial praise or seek attention. he is at rest in knowing who he is, his place in the plan, and God's purpose.
