SundaySermon - Prince - Fruits We Bear

Fruits We Bear The question should be directed to our hearts and our relationship to God. What kind of fruit am I bringing in? Verse: Isaiah 5:1‭-‬2 1 Now I will sing for the one I love a song about his vineyard: My beloved had a vineyard on a rich and fertile hill.  2 He plowed the land, cleared its stones, and planted it with the best vines. In the middle he built a watchtower and carved a winepress in the nearby rocks. Then he waited for a harvest of sweet grapes, but the grapes that grew were bitter. Fruit are outward reflection of the inward state. The early church didn't realize how miserable they were Verse: Revelation 3:17 17 You say, ‘I am rich. I have everything I want. I don’t need a thing!’ And you don’t realize that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked. We need an accurate measure to determine. Here are some pointers The Fruit of our Heart The Fruit of my Hand The Fruit of our Lips The Fruit of my Heart Here are some things that come out of...

SundaySermon - Prince - Wild Vine

Wild Vine Verse: Isaiah 5:1‭-‬2 1 Now I will sing for the one I love a song about his vineyard: My beloved had a vineyard on a rich and fertile hill.  2 He plowed the land, cleared its stones, and planted it with the best vines. In the middle he built a watchtower and carved a winepress in the nearby rocks. Then he waited for a harvest of sweet grapes, but the grapes that grew were bitter. God was expecting the fruit of his labour. But the fruit that came out of His effort was wild fruit.  What does wild fruit mean? It is a worthless fruit. It has no economic value.  Untamed passion - Carefree living - Living carelessly - Following your heart's desire without any checks with the Word of God  Verse: Jeremiah 2:21 21 But I was the one who planted you, choosing a vine of the purest stock—the very best. How did you grow into this corrupt wild vine ? God is puzzled by the outcome. This thought is written out in the above verse "How did you grow into this corrupt wild wine...

SundaySermon - Lawrence - Love as principle

Love as principle The symbol of the greatest love is the cross.... the death of Jesus Christ. The cross at the time of Jesus was a symbol of shame and punishment.  The question was asked to Jesus, "What is the greatest commandment?" To which he answered, "Love the Lord with all your heart...." So what is Love really like? Is it giving up all your heart? (sacrifice) Is it shame?  What is Love?  Verse: John 13:1 1 Before the Passover celebration, Jesus knew that his hour had come to leave this world and return to his Father. He had loved his disciples during his ministry on earth, and now he loved them to the very end. Jesus loved his disciples. And here are some pointers. Love makes the way for relationship . Man was lost because of sin. But Jesus loved them and he was about to take a journey to go through the most gruesome death. This death is coupled with shame because he wanted to gain the relationship with His creation This journey of building relationship invo...

SundaySermon - Prince - The Good News

The Good News Jesus read this verse in the synagogue and announced the good news.... to the poor .... bring comfort..... proclaiming freedom. Verse: Isaiah 61:1 1 The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed. Jesus came to bind the broken hearted Jesus came to proclaim liberty to the captives Jesus came to proclaim the year of Lord's favor Jesus came to bind the broken hearted God's heart reaches out to the people who are broken. Verse: Psalms 34:18 18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed. The brokenness root cause is sin. And sin began in the Garden of Eden. The brokenness affected the relationship with God. And God wanted to restore to what it was before. And this restoration happens because of the tender voice of God Verse: Isaiah 40:1‭-‬2 1 “Comfort, ...
