Certain/Confident - means firmly persuaded or convinced - in Trustfulness in God's power and love. This power helps us to do good works. It God is behind this, then it is not our effort that makes this happen.  God began it and God will perfect - the good works The language will suggest that this is an ongoing work until we reach heaven. There is a completion to this work. And that responsibility for this completion is on God .... because God started this work. Has God started work on you?
