SundaySermon - George - Divine Visitation

Divine Visitation God's visitation comes at the right time. The family of Martha & Mary invited Jesus to come and address a situation. Lazarus was sick and Jesus was late as per Martha. Verse: John 11:38‭-‬44 38 Jesus was still angry as he arrived at the tomb, a cave with a stone rolled across its entrance. 39 “Roll the stone aside,” Jesus told them. But Martha, the dead man’s sister, protested, “Lord, he has been dead for four days. The smell will be terrible.”  40 Jesus responded, “Didn’t I tell you that you would see God’s glory if you believe?”  41 So they rolled the stone aside. Then Jesus looked up to heaven and said, “Father, thank you for hearing me.  42 You always hear me, but I said it out loud for the sake of all these people standing here, so that they will believe you sent me.”  43 Then Jesus shouted, “Lazarus, come out!”  44 And the dead man came out, his hands and feet bound in grave clothes, his face wrapped in a headcloth. SundaySermon - Lawrence - Who is your daddy?

Who is your Daddy? Jesus taught us to pray Verse: Matthew 6:9 Pray like this: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. We may have had fathers who were loving or otherwise. But no matter what, God is your heavenly father who loves you deeply. How did this all happen? Jesus made this possible and we call God Father through the Holy Spirit Verse: Ephesians 2:12‭-‬13,18 12 In those days you were living apart from Christ. You were excluded from citizenship among the people of Israel, and you did not know the covenant promises God had made to them. You lived in this world without God and without hope.  13 But now you have been united with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to him through the blood of Christ. 18 Now all of us can come to the Father through the same Holy Spirit because of what Christ has done for us . We didn't deserve the privilege of calling God Father. But Jesus made it possible. And perhaps there are peopl...

Parable of the Mustard Seed  The church is to be prepared for the fullness of the Kingdom of God is to be fully established. And it is never fully established unil Christ has full authority and Heaven and Earth Verse: Ephesians 1:10 And this is the plan: At the right time he will bring everything together under the authority of Christ—everything in heaven and on earth . Here is the passage for today study Verse: Matthew 13:31‭-‬32 31 Here is another illustration Jesus used: “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a mustard seed planted in a field.  32 It is the smallest of all seeds, but it becomes the largest of garden plants; it grows into a tree, and birds come and make nests in its branches.”  Jesus is the one that sows the seed into our hearts. The field is where the seeds fall on. And the field represents the earth. There are three things we can learn Insignificant Beginning Warning against one's own kingdom Beware of negative influences Insignificant Beginning The mus...

SundaySermon - Prince - Seeds and Weeds

Seeds and Weeds The Kingdom of God is to be sought after above all else Verse: Matthew 6:33 Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. We dedicate so much of our lives to the Kingdom of God. But what God needs the most is your heart. The matters of the Kingdom is the matter of the heart. In out continuation of the study of the Kingdom of God, we will look at this parable Verse: Matthew 13:24‭-‬30 24 Here is another story Jesus told: “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a farmer who planted good seed in his field.  25 But that night as the workers slept, his enemy came and planted weeds among the wheat, then slipped away.  26 When the crop began to grow and produce grain, the weeds also grew.  27 “The farmer’s workers went to him and said, ‘Sir, the field where you planted that good seed is full of weeds! Where did they come from?’  28 “‘An enemy has done this!’ the farmer exclaimed. “‘Should we pull out the...
