 Title

The values of people guide our actions. If the actions need to change the value system needs to change. And the change in values happen because of various influences. And we are warned to hold strong to the values established in the Word of God.

Verse: Romans 12:2

2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Besides holding strong to the values, we are called in influenze the people around us with God has established. These values help us all and this inturn brings value into our lives

God intentionally added value to all men but dying on the cross. He gave us a clean heart and made a us a new creation

Verse: 2 Corinthians 5:17

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:[a] The old has gone, the new is here!

God has asking us to put on the new and put off the old. God has put the value into our lives first and then is asking us to change our lives

We can do the same with the people around by adding value..... We inturn influezne people with the values we hold on to.

Value1: How do we add value in people's life? By honoring them

When we honor people, it will come back to us. 

Verse: 1 Samuel 2:30

30 “Therefore the Lord, the God of Israel, declares: ‘I promised that members of your family would minister before me forever.’ But now the Lord declares: ‘Far be it from me! Those who honor me I will honor, but those who despise me will be disdained.

God is calling different groups to honor them.... children honor them.

Verse: Ephesians 6:1-2

1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 

2 “Honor your father and mother”—which is the first commandment with a promise—

Value2: What you sow, you will reap

It is important to sow godly values and we are in turn blessed.

Verse: Galatians 6:7

7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.

The culture has its ways and if we sow in it, we will reap what is of the World. 

Value3: Humility

Poor in the spirit is Humility. And Humility and being financially poor is not the same thing.

Verse: Matthew 5:3

3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

The opposite of humble is proud and God resists the proud

Conclusion

Happy Men's Day!

Happy Men's Day! Celebrating people is important because it builds community, strengthens relationships, and creates a culture of gratitude and appreciation. We all celebrate Women's Day. However, men often are not excited about any kind of celebration meant for them. That is because we are already having such a good time.... and every day!!! We don't need a special day. Morality Standards A picture is painted of a potter fashioning clay to his liking. And this animated picture brings life to the clay, with the clay protesting the Potters's design. This surprised Potter asks "Can I not do with you, Israel, as this potter does?" Jeremiah 18:5 NIV It seems completely reasonable and moral that the Potter is allowed to shape the clay to his design and liking. Conversely it is unreasonable and immoral for the clay to protest the Potter's design.   "You turn things upside down, as if the potter were thought to be like the clay!" Isaiah 29:16 NIV And yet, we continue in our unreasonability and turn things upside down. Why does mere clay (or humankind), protest the Potter (or God) on morality.
